Weak muscles are among the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">most common<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> causes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pelvic floor muscles, which support the bladder, and the urinary sphincter, which controls the release of urine from the bladder, tend to weaken over time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bladder is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/urinary-incontinence-oab\/picture-of-the-bladder#1\">elastic pouch that stretches as it fills with urine<\/a>.
