Penny Demarest, in the expanded role of licensed Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, prescribes medications, orders x-rays and blood work, and performs annual physicals for her patients. Together with Dr. Kenneth Heaton they make a formidable team when it comes to patient care and clinical research. They have been successfully carrying out research studies in Woodstock since 1997. In addition to Dr. Heaton’s family practice and research activities, he’s also a licensed Dentist and is a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner.
