Do you suffer from Obesity?

Obesity and being overweight are leading factors in the development of heart disease and stroke, as well as Type 2 diabetes. More than 10 million Canadians are overweight, while another 7 million Canadians are considered obese. If you are overweight, you are at high risk of becoming obese, which can more seriously affect your health.

The number of Canadians who are overweight or obese has increased dramatically over the past 25 years. Obesity and being overweight is a risk factor in a number of chronic diseases. Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is important to reduce the risk of those diseases and improve overall health.
